Challenge:
Introduce TrueYou Match, a new type of lipstick formulated to enhance the wearer’s natural lip color, creating a one-of-a-kind look for each woman. Effectively convey the lipstick’s unique benefits in a print ad format with minimal text. Drive purchases of the new lipstick at local drugstores.
Solution:
Playing on the idea of finding your “perfect match” in the romantic sense, the headline is designed to immediately capture the reader’s attention. The copy highlights the lipstick’s ability to create a distinctive color for each wearer, celebrating her individual beauty. Using CoverGirl’s signature branding visuals, we featured a model with beautiful, natural-looking lip color to suggest the results customers can expect. We included a prominent CTA across the bottom of the ad.
